POS customer management
Keep the customer relationship connected to the sale.
Search one customer identity, inspect profile and purchase history, understand visit and wallet context, resolve duplicates, manage lifecycle, and use permission-gated data controls without losing the sales record.Search one customer identity, inspect history and wallet context, and manage its authorized lifecycle and data controls.
Operating thread · real Customers screen
Begin with the searchable record staff actually use.
The customer surface puts recognizable profiles and relationship context ahead of lifecycle or data-control decisions.

Customer continuity ledger
One customer identity. Every authorized relationship record in context.
These are operating records, not stages in a sales funnel. Each remains connected to the customer while its permission and retention boundary stays visible.

Search · profile
Find the person, then read the record behind the name.
Searchable customer records can be created, opened, and updated with contact, address, marketing-consent, tier, wallet, first-visit, and last-visit context. The profile keeps those fields beside the sale relationship instead of scattering them across register notes.
Customer statistics provide rolling relationship context for an authorized operator. The merchant remains responsible for what it collects, why it collects it, and which roles can use it.
History · statistics · wallet
Move from the profile into what happened at the register.
Purchase history keeps completed transaction context available from the customer record. Visit and purchase statistics help staff understand the relationship, while permission-gated wallet transaction history exposes the value movements an authorized operator needs to review.
History does not replace the original transaction. Use checkout and transaction control to inspect the sale, tender, receipt, and qualified return path, and use reporting for broader customer comparisons.
Merge · lifecycle
Resolve duplicate identity without inventing a second relationship.
An authorized duplicate merge joins customer identity with an audit record of the action. Archive removes a customer from the active working set without deleting the relationship history; restore returns that same record to active use.
Export · anonymize
Separate portability from irreversible privacy action.
Permission-gated export packages the selected customer's profile and purchase history for authorized use. Anonymization is a different, irreversible permission-gated action: it removes identifying profile data while retaining sales records needed for the operating history.
The two controls are intentionally distinct. An operator should confirm the customer, the requested action, and the assigned permission before proceeding.
Support-assisted migration
Move customer data through a support-assisted import path.
Customer import is support-assisted rather than a merchant-run upload. LiftedPOS support can review the source structure, field mapping, consent context, duplicate strategy, and import result with the merchant before the migrated records become operating data.
For a real migration, bring a representative export and the rules that define identity, consent, tiers, and existing balances to the implementation conversation.
Permission and privacy boundary
Data controls provide tools. The merchant defines the policy and authority.
Search, profile updates, wallet history, merge, archive, restore, export, and anonymization are bounded by the relevant access paths and permissions. Export and irreversible anonymization are customer-record controls—not a blanket certification for a merchant's privacy program. Review collection, consent, retention, access, and response procedures for the deployed operation.
Inspect the record before rollout
Use a real customer journey to test the operating fit.
Software is $100/month for the first station and $50/month for each additional station. A standard station is $499.99 to purchase or $39.99/month to lease. Cancel anytime with no long-term software contract. Leased equipment must be returned after cancellation or billed at the full purchase price. Payment terminals, processing, integrations, and separately scoped rollout work are separate.
Customer management FAQ
Separate the customer record from the workflows around it.
What customer information can LiftedPOS keep with a sale?
A customer profile can include contact and address details, marketing-consent fields, tier and wallet context, first and last visit, purchase history, and relationship statistics available to the authorized operator.
Is customer management the same as LiftedPOS loyalty?
No. Customer management owns identity, profile, history, lifecycle, and data controls. The separate native loyalty workflow defines how an enrolled customer earns and redeems configured rewards.
Does customer management send customer email campaigns?
No. Customer email campaigns are a separate workflow with consent-filtered audiences, templates, provider configuration, send state, and recipient history.
Is customer outreach part of Team Messaging?
No. Team Messaging is the internal employee-conversation system. Customer records and customer email outreach remain separate operating surfaces.
Can duplicate customer records be merged?
Yes. An authorized operator can merge duplicate customer identities while retaining an audit record of the merge.
How do customer export and anonymization work?
Authorized users can export a customer's profile and purchase history. Irreversible anonymization is separately permission-gated, removes identifying profile data, and retains sales records.
Can a merchant import its own customer CSV?
Customer migration is support-assisted. Tenant import routes direct the merchant to support rather than exposing a merchant-run import action.
